We understand that you may need to cancel your appointment. Please be sure to give us a minimum of 24 hours’ notice. Any appointment cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice is subject to a 50% cancellation fee of all scheduled service(s) with card on file. Missed appointments are subject to a full 100% charge of all scheduled services. We accept cash gratuities only.

Owner & Stylist
Ingrid is the owner of Asteri and a master hairstylist who knows just the right hue and cut to help her clients look their best. For Ingrid, no client is more important to her than the one in her chair at the moment. She honed her artistic style and abilities in the salon as well as in print and television, including working for The Oprah Winfrey Show for over a decade. Ingrid is also one of the few stylists in Chicago who has mastered the art of Laserbeamer NANO extensions by Hairdreams®.
Miwa
Stylist
Miwa is a prominent second-generation hair stylist from Japan with more than 25 years of experience in Japan and the U.S. She developed her artistic style and abilities in print and high-end fashion shows. Miwa was one of the first hair stylists in Chicago to offer Japanese thermal hair straightening. Miwa is also a certified shampoo sommelier.
Akiko
Nail Artist
Originally from Tokyo, Akiko is a licensed nail artist with a degree in graphic art and eight years of experience as a graphic designer. Her detailed and attentive services range from intricate gel nail art to regular mani-pedis.
